he's missed 1 game and has been hurt...but its been pure speculation that he wants a trade, or that he is healthy enough to play...

Fact: he could put good facts out there by saying the right things, ala I love this team and my teammates. GEAUX hornets! S excited about this season, etc

Fair enough, but Kobe also has also shown a tendency to pout and "act out" on the court when things aren't going great. Now, that's better than not being on the court most of the time.

he said all the right things when he signed his contract and had some positive tweets about the team this offseason

All I'm saying is if there's no structural damage and he just can't play through pain, then he deserves the hate. He gets paid a lot of money to play basketball.

He's said a few things similar to that during the offseason but those comments didn't get much attention. I'd love for him to just come out today and say all the right things directly to the media but he doesn't seem like the type of guy to do that. I just want him to get healthy and play.
