I keep looking but I can't find me proposed trade that would have gotten us Westbrook, Ibaka, and Iggy that sent Paul to OKC.
It made sense financially.

This would be a great starting 5. We would definitely be one of the best non-superstar teams in the NBA with that lineup.

Pretty much . NBA can go frick itself, though. We joke about CHAMPIONSHIP all the time on here but that team could surprise and win one with a few solid bench players.

Teams were not willing to give up as much with Chris not committing to an extension anywhere, so I like this deal a lot.

Maybe because we just committed to being a near luxury tax team for the next 4 years for a team that will be lucky to win 40 games.
Martin was traded for Carl Landry. Houston couldn't dump Scola. We didn't get Montiejunas. The Knicks pick will be in the 20s. And Odom threatened to retire when the Lakers tried to trade him for Iggy.
