I see Ingram and I see value. What we can turn him into. He is not a foundational piece. He is not bought in. He is a lazy defender and checks out for games at a time. He is a gifted scorer. A decent number 3 or 4 guy on a competitive team with a strong coach/culture.
We aren't winning anything with a big 3 of Val, Ingram and Zion. That is an 8-10 seed fully healthy. I'd rather fix it now and take the lumps.
Lol. brmark, I used to wonder if you were a troll. I don't now. You just have some takes that are ridiculous.

Booker wasn’t a winning player until he was. That’s all relative to who’s around you. We have NAW as a second option even a primary option at times.
You are making my point for me. Is Booker considered a star now? Or is Paul getting all of the praise?
Ingram can play on a winning team. He isn't a winner right now and he never has been. He can't lead or will a team to victory. He isn't an alpha.
This is where you make the mistake while making threads like this. You don't understand the debate with Ingram. It's not that I think he is a bad player or person.
I don't believe he is a star or a max player. He isn't a player you build around. I believe you could get value for him and those pieces, if done properly, could help get us over the top. He is a 3-4 option for a good-great team. That isn't an attack on him.

Both roster lacked a halfcourt wing scorer critical to winning in the NBA, which again you’re clueless about.[
What roster are you talking about? You need scorers everywhere.

Yes, youre clearly biased.
Biased against what? I am not a fan of Ingram. You made this thread to call me out people like me and bash us. It seems like you are more the one with an agenda.

You wouldn’t know it, but you’re actually speaking more on Zion than Ingram.
Zion is a star. Swap them. Ingram is out and Zion can play. What is our record right now?

There's 2 tiers in the NBA, superstar and star, and every one of them are max level guys.
Star players are top 30-40 players. Ingram is one of those. That much is not debated by anyone, even your talking heads.

Wut? Do you actually watch the NBA or just watch national media experts?

Oh the irony.

He’s a 3 level scoring wing who is still getting better. Everything you say is an attack on him.

See previous post. Championship rosters have wing scorers of Ingram’s profile.

As stated it’s about balance.

Don’t move the goalposts, simp.
The Pels are winless without Ingram. They are 7-11 with a winning percentage of 39% with him.
As you’ve said multiple times you think the Pels are 8-10th seed with Zion in the lineup which would put them at roughly 10% better with Zion.
Therefore…if Zion only makes the Pels 10% better, then that is more indicative on Zion-a top 15 player in the in the NBA than Ingram.
The 3 man core of Val Zion and Ingram have an awful supporting cast. That’s not indicative of how great they are, as noted by the 8th seed Warriors last year who now have the deepest team in the league.
That being said, they are clear playoff team in the West with a healthy team.
But hey what does Max Kellerman say?

I'm happy to banter back and forth. But you are coming off like a child and the insults have got to stop. You are the one that started the whole thread. If you did it just to name call. I'll just stop replying to you.

This is a thread specifically targeting Ingram and why some of us are not in love with him or have been critical of him. I am not attacking him. I am arguing his perception and what his expectations should be.

Go back 10 years, that would be who? James, Leonard, Durant, Middleton, Thompson.. are you putting Ingram onto their level? Cause that is the level I am judging him on and where he should be.
In November, Ingram played in 10 games. He averaged 19/6/4 on 40%fg, 30%3pt with over 3TOpg. Are those "star" numbers?
Posted on 12/5/21 at 6:36 am to brmark70816
Aren’t other stars having trouble as well. Players mentioned that they are adjusting to the new ball and/or new rules. He had a bad month with no Zion and a team where a 2nd round rookie might be our 3rd best player right now because of Zion being out

Better than what Dame and Harden posted, are they not stars/superstars?

You may want to fact check those numbers, cause that isn't what I saw.
But both those guys have much greater resumes to back up those reputations..

Dame is still not above 40% FG for the entire season, he's barely above 30% from 3, and averaging almost 3 TOV, on 21 ppg, all this after having caught fire for a couple weeks

You sir are wrong
In an hour we are playing the worst team in the league (even though they have won 5 games in a row). We should win the game in a blowout. Ingram is going heads up against Gordon and Tate. Seriously, he should put up 30+ and dominate in a game like this. It is a huge mismatch advantage for him. Is he going to come through?
Posted on 12/5/21 at 5:42 pm to brmark70816
But in reality
Houston has a five-game winning streak. Offensively, the Rockets are red hot, averaging 119.6 points per game and shooting better than 40 percent from deep.
Nice attempt to frame a false narrative, though lol.

Honestly he is playing really well. I'm happy to see it. I hope I did piss him off. This is what he is capable of doing and should be close to the expectation nightly..

BI is definitely the leader of this team. Prodigious talent

They trapped him every possession. At least this overtime, blame willie or other players not being able to score v3

Lonzo has those numbers and this board used to cream itself. Or would now melt since he’s a Bull.
