Will I be able to watch them if I have Cox cable in Lafayette?

I’m in Lafayette. Looks like I’ll get league pass
.
Check in to this. When i went to league pass, it said in some small print that I wouldn't get certain Pels games....which was most of them. If you learn or understand it differently, please share here. I'm willing to do league pass if I can get most of them.

Based on your current location, you will be unable to view LIVE PELICANS games or nationally broadcast games on ESPN, ABC or TNT via your League Pass, League Pass Premium, or Team Pass subscription (inclusive of NBA TV). Locally blacked out games will be available 3 days after the live broadcast, while nationally broadcast games will be available 3 hours after the live broadcast. Each subscription includes access to live radio broadcasts of all NBA games. Please consult your local TV and radio broadcaster schedules for where to find broadcasts in your area.
This is what it says for my zip code . Over the air will not work in my area, guess I'm out of luck

Christian Clark reported that the Pels are working with the league to offer a streaming service like the Jazz and Suns did last year. The national version of League Pass was never going to be an option for people in the viewing area.

Additionally, the Pelicans and Gray are in advanced discussions with broadcasters in Lafayette to get games on there.

Yes. By the end of September, the Pelicans are expected to unveil a streaming product that will be called Pelicans Plus, a team source told The Times-Picayune. The Pelicans are working with the NBA right now to determine pricing, programming and platform. Pelicans Plus will allow any fan within the team’s coverage area to stream games on their TV, laptop, tablet or phone for a monthly or annual fee.

How much do the Suns and Jazz streams cost?
Posted on 9/17/24 at 8:10 am to SLafourche07
The Suns charged $15 per month or $110 annually.

There's always some sort of catch with watching Pels games. So my only option here in Gonzales seems to be using an antenna to catch 9.3 out of BR. Which with their weak signal is typically impossible.

In Nola it appears most games will be on 7.1 and not the Bounce subchannel?

Gray is working with carriers like Cox, Rev/Eatel, DirecTV Stream to get the network on their lineups. That’s going to take a negotiation for retransmission fees.

Would be great to get it on DirectTV.

According to a FOX 8 comment on FB, they are "launching" a new channel, which is 7.1. So no, not a subchannel, but how strong that signal is, no idea.

That would be great for folks who care about the picture quality. The subchannels always look like hot garbage.

They also announced that they will have streaming too.

Pelicans games will also be available to stream to audiences inside the team’s broadcast territory. The streaming platform, which will be Pelicans-branded, will offer fans the ability to watch every available Pelicans game alongside the over-the-air broadcast on a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or Smart TV, plus access to original team content and behind-the-scenes footage. Fans outside of the team’s coverage territory can access games via NBA League Pass. Additional details about the Pelicans streaming service will be announced in the coming weeks.

I'm pretty sure Gray owns KPLC in Lake Charles. Does anyone know if they ever aired any of the games last year?

I think they aired them on 7.3. The Bounce channel

Curious about if this will be available on YouTube TV in the surrounding Nola area
