Yeah tres defesne is highly suspect. He’s not a guy I’m picking top 4

And I know there’s some people who have Edgecombe #2 overall and to me I don’t see it. At that spot I need a leader and a dawg and I just think Harper, tho his team didn’t win, put his team on his back night after night and had multiple clutch performances. He’s either 3rd of 4th on my board

This is only my second time watching Edgecombe, but he hasn’t looked great either time. I’m assuming I’ve just seen 2 games, but he looks really passive.
I’m looking forward to seeing Fears from Oklahoma later.

Edgecombe won't look great against a good defense with size and athleticism especially when they force Baylor into halfcourt offense consistently and limit their fast break opportunities. His handles are going to keep his athleticism contained against good defenses.

Good showing for Edgecombe against a good defense today. Could easily see how he'd be used on a team like the Pels in this game.

Same. He’s 4th on my board. I’m taking Flagg Harper and Bailey over him and I’m not really thinking twice

If we somehow get a later pick I like this kid from Illinois

Outside the top 2, Jakucionis would make the most sense if they are hellbent on keep the team the same.
He could man the PG position until Murray returns and has the versatility to switch to off-guard when Murray plays. And could replace CJ when they move him. Fits well with Herb and Trey on the wing and has the skillset to compliment Williamson.

Pels couldn’t even land any women’s college prospects.

Jakucionis looks better than Fears and Edgecombe today, but Fears isn’t bad. Jak just looks like a game changer. It’s also just one game, I haven’t been watching these guys all year

I’d still take Bailey over him but Id draft Jakucionis 4th and be very happy. I prefer him to Edgecombe. Jaku can run an offense which Edgcombe can’t. Jaku has that Luka/Cade style of offense of being crafty and methodical. I think he’s gonna really shine when surrounded by NBA spacing and athleticism. He’ll be able to setup easy looks for Trey, Zion and Herb

Names you can’t watch b/c they weren’t good enough to get their team to the tournament: Dylan Harper - Rutgers Ace Bailey - also Rutgers

If there is one thing Jakucionis needs to work on its turnovers. 6 last game, 4 in the first half this game
Posted on 3/23/25 at 5:38 pm to T1gerWonder
hes been bad with turnover all year

Every prospect after Flagg and Harper will have glaring flaws. Going to have to figure out which player's flaws are unacceptable and which ones they feel can be coached up.

That guy is about to turn 24 in a few weeks.

Jakacionis looked bad today with an athletic defender on him. I really liked him yesterday, but now I’m wondering if his lack of athleticism is really going to limit him in the NBA.

Athleticism has never been a strong point of his. You're getting a combination of positional size and length, auxiliary skills, craftiness, and shooting/scoring potential with him. Defense will be competent but won't be a strength of his. His game will be more like Haliburton who shines in the NBA spacing.

Derik Queen is real nice. Damn I really like him.
