I think if nothing else this has to be pushing Demps and Co. to be much more receptive to pulling the trigger on any number of the Hail Mary plays you know he has lined up, likely just as much for his own job security as the team’s best interest.
Great if it puts into play players that provide a more creative, better return, that we may have hesitated to part with(I’m thinking Moore, Niko, or Randle), problematic if it means we drive into desperation/sucker territory and do something silly like trade away most of our assets to take on Otto Porter’s salary.
