I have no idea what to do. Can the local news plea for people to go see this good team? Or is that not allowed?

Idk, I hope they are yelling and screaming about people and telling them to go to the games. The Hornets may just need a new promo team and street team

there in lies the problem, LE. the hornets season ticket base is so low that they have to depend on walk up sales. in 2007 everything turned out okay because the team was a clear cut contender by february. it remains to be seen if the team has that kind of run in them.

Yep. We've dropped much in season ticket sales this season.

The hornets aren't going to leave. There will be gnashing of teeth, blah, blah, blah, but a deal will be worked out and attendance will pick up come January and February.
But these stupid threads serve no purpose. If anything, they're counterproductive. They don't exactly create enthusiasm.

When you cannot win consistently year to year, then you wont sell tickets. I know I dropped my season tickets after the last 2 years. Too hard to go to every game, not to mention the product put on the court wasnt worthy of my money.
That is just how it works in a small city(poor) like this.
yeah, the cold really istn a stupid excuse. No one wants to leave the house and go watch the Hornets play Charolette. Most regular fans couldnt name a player on their team. NBA thrives on star power, and they have none.
