wish we had a coach that could build an offense around that automatic double team.

youd think the staff would tell Zion to look up and find the open guy when 2 dudes are on you. I’m sure they have, they aren’t that inept

Zion is so good it hides just how horrendous our half court offense is.

It’s just street ball

When Zion is in, it might as well be 5 on 4, defensively

This is just so dumb and wrong. We literally lead the league in assists and hockey assists since Zion started playing

Our offense was good before Zion returned.

We have enough ballers. Just need a couple pure shooters that won’t miss wide open 3s. Seems like we miss so many open 3s that the good teams don’t miss.

Agree, my only big disappointment with him. Thought he would be a great defender and he has looked below average at best.

I’m sure I’m being too hard on them but even if they are telling him that, it’s just play smarter street ball. Not running set plays to take advantage of that double.

Like I said, I don’t know what happens in that huddle but it just has the vibe of a team that has no offensive philosophy outside of a couple screens or Zion/BI iso on repeat

You think offense has been our problem?

If we gonna give up points like we have been lately then yeah we need more shooters.

Honest question for everyone

Would you rather Luka/Porzingis or Zion/BI going forward?

Can we also stop using the "he's a rookie" excuse when he has awful defensive possessions solely based on lack of effort? If he has a bad rotation or goes for a pump fake or something, sure, that's fine, but rookies usually hustle the most

Other teams don't, that seems to be a lot of the difference.
