I don't think Tim Duncan, Pop and the return of Christ could save this team right now

Joel Meyers does a really good job of not saying what he really wants to say but gives slight hints. You can tell he just wants to scream about how shitty the effort has been tonight.

Tyreke is gonna tyreke.

This team needs to just accept the fact that they fricked it up starting with the Jrue trade. Smart trade, wrong player.

I don't give a frick if Tyreke puts up 18, 6 and 6 he's not a wining basketball player. Neither is Gordon. Neither is Asik.

Maybe not, but the Pels aren't playing good basketball. Qpon is competent on defense.

I can see that in a sense. We got our "core" in Jrue, Reke, Gordon, and Davis all around the same time period. All young and unproven with a lot of hype to be successful. Davis has lived up to it and I feel the case is still out on Jrue(injury prone). Reke's a good player but doesn't work well with the team. Gordon is just a roll player who can hit the deep ball more than the average

Its really apparent watching these guys. Missing shots is one thing, they don't even seem to care though.

ADs seemed aloof on the court a lot of the year. Haven't gotten the feeling that he's not trying, just maybe that he's pacing himself more. Look at his minutes recently, he knows he's got to play NBA Finals type minutes, 40+, for us to even be competitive.

Anderson's play hard this year but didn't show up at all tonight. Had zero F's to give after his Star Wars field trip.

Jrue plays hard, though often over-aggressive on d. If he played with that aggression on offense, he'd vould be very very good. Tyreke does Tyreke things, but he always plays hard.

Ish plays 100% at all times and deserves more minutes. If Genrty's gonna bitch about lack of effort, he needs to give Ish the minutes he's earned.

After those guys its really hit or miss who'll give a shite night to night.

Nearing the end of a road trip with a team that's not competitive, could be hard to get enthusiastic. Granted they are professionals, but I guess you can only bend so far...

I didn't watch it either but looking at the box score the assist count immediately jumped out, as it does on most nights when we don't play well. Jrue was the high assist man with 4. 13 assists total for the whole game

They aren't out of it because the West is down this year. I don't think it's a "we can't make the playoffs so why bother attitude." because they CAN make the playoffs. I think they just don't believe, not sure whether that lack of faith is in themselves, their teammates, or what Gentry's selling. The really sad part is if Monty were still coach or they had hired JVG or Thibs, this team would probably be right where they were expected to be, in the 7-8 seed fight, and that's with the ridiculous injury situation.

I didn't watch a single minute last night. At least with Monty, as infuriating as it may have been, the games could be interesting.

The effort is really baffling One game they look like a playoff team the next they look like none of them want to play. I do not know if it is the system, but the lack of effort and heart will make any system look like shite

AD's effort seems to be off almost like he is pouting. I am not talking about his numbers just "that take over the game attitude" seems to be lacking.

QPonn will help the energy on the court but that is about it.

I feel like this team is just going through the motions most nights.
