Thats the other issue for gods sake Trey was playing aggressive and good but Naji has to get minutes lol. Willie needs to stop forcing minutes for Naji. 17 minutes and he didn’t have a good game. Adjust in the game- use Trey more.

Willie preaches we need to take 3s, wants us to take 40 3s a game... then proceeds to stick with defensive lineups even when those defenders are getting cooked.

It’s crazy that more than half of this fanbase still doesn’t understand that Zion is by far the biggest deterrent to this franchise being successful and perhaps winning a championship. He’s the final, missing piece and he’s pissing this shite down the toilet for the franchise and the fans.
And you can pretty much tell when he doesn’t have it going from night to night. Yet, people still defend it and blame the refs for a 310 pound dude not being able to move his feet on defense.
Dude was garbage tonight. He’s the number 1 reason why we lost. Ja being amazing is number 2. The refs might check in at number 3 in terms of this game.
People really want to sit here and blame Fricking Naji Marshall for losses or lack of team success over Zion and it’s pretty damn hilarious.

Naji has been good lately so i get why he got minutes but Willie has got to be better about recognizing when someone just doesnt have it that night

Exactly in game adjustments. Willie is the worst in the NBA for in game adjustments. Its why we have so many blown leads.

willie was arse but the main reason for the L was the zebras. from the tip, it was obvious they were gonna make sure ja won this one. giving zion 3 questionable foul calls to keep him from getting in rhythm and only being able to play 25 minutes is really bad, but giving ja 12 free throws when dude was hardly breathed on is just nasty work
not to mention 15 (fifteen) FTs for JJJ when he averages 6 per game and he intentionally avoids contact with hook shots and 3s

Yes zebras were an issue. But Willie’s rotations and lack of in game adjustments were just as bad. Coaching should be an advantage not a disadvantage for a team.

I’ll say this again. Borrego coached one game but the execution by this team was miles better. Borrego stopped runs, in game adjustments were great. I think we’re getting to the point that we need to talk about Willie’s severe coaching issues. When this team is fully healthy- no reason to lose this game.
