I know Pels Talk loves to hate on the guy, but Shamit is crushing it on Twitter right now.

Hes spot on in everything hes saying. Willie green is obsessed with defensive guys in an offensive league. We barely run actions for Trey or play him heavy minutes. Hawkins rots on the bench. How many times do we see BI and shooters or Zion and shooters lineups?? Like barely ever.

Willie has shown he will never emphasize shooting. Why? Because he leaves his shooters on the bench and even when they're in the game, he's rarely calling plays to get them shot opportunities.

Unless his defensive guys shoot well, we're going to be jackyl and hyde from deep.

willie was arse but the main reason for the L was the zebras. from the tip, it was obvious they were gonna make sure ja won this one. giving zion 3 questionable foul calls to keep him from getting in rhythm and only being able to play 25 minutes is really bad, but giving ja 12 free throws when dude was hardly breathed on is just nasty work

There’s a lot of blame to be found if this team looks in the mirror; but tonight was really an example of our “stars” just don’t get many calls. BI drove hard to the hoop early and often and it sure as hell looked like there was a lot of contact, but no calls (he did shoot a lot of free throws, but most were on shot attempts where he got guys up in the air. Zion as usual got very few calls. Every time Morant went to the hole the whistle blew; to the point where I can promise you Herb was scared to get near him. Jackson got call after call going to the hole and not once did he get called for the blatant clear outs with his right arm. shite, Bane went to the line on a call where Herb was a foot away from him. The game just simply wasn’t officiated the same for both teams, and it absolutely cost us.

Its asinine to have hawkins and trey on bench and expect guys like dyson, herb and naji to drain threes to win the game. Like what the actual frick??!!

It’s crazy that more than half of this fanbase still doesn’t understand that Zion is by far the biggest deterrent to this franchise being successful

LOL. 3 hours ago you said Zion was faking an illness to get out of playing against the Grizzlies.

No doubt Willie values defense over offense. It’s why Nance (when he is healthy) almost always finishes close games instead of JV.

Those are things the coach needs to be on the refs about. I highly highly doubt passive Green does.

When Z isn't scoring, he is a borderline liability on the floor. He doesn't rebound he doesn't play defense.

Plus Z was sick so I don’t know maybe sub him for Trey who was rebounding and playing aggressive.

Borderline?

If Zion isn't scoring, he's a huge liability.

Maybe the coach should do a better job of game planning and use him in more creative ways. His usage has been very predictable all year. There's so many ways to use him but we just want to give him the ball on the elbow and tell him to go get his.

Willie Green is a rah rah coach and thats great when you’re a shitty team trying to make the play-in but this team needs a coach that pushes the right buttons and gives them an edge tactically. Thats just not Willie’s forte.

Pels Spaces is so hilariously bad. That Rocky person is just awful to listen to.

How lazy he is on rebounding is just sad. He just walks toward the goal with no intent. It finally looked like he was realizing how important his rebounding was the last few games. Tonight (and hopefully he just didn’t feel right) was a huge regression back to lazy, lazy rebounding.

There are shitty refs. Then there was horrific coaching. I'm usually the one to say don't overreact, but this was amateur hour. Ridiculous!! Willy Numbskull Green lost this one, and not the only one, far too many, he needs to go!

I’ll get a lot of downvotes but I firmly believe if Borrego was coaching this team these dumb arse huge leads that disappear would stop. If anyone remembers watching the game he coached, you could just tell how good he was with the nuances of in game stuff while coaching.

We had one play in the last 8 minutes, once Ja came in, where we involved Ja in a pick with Zion or BI.
That’s pathetic coaching.
