Maybe BI and JV wasn't as bad a fit with Williamson as everyone claimed because ZW is just a shell of the player he was with BI and JV on the court with him. The only # 1 about Zion Williamson is his jersey number. He's not a Batman; maybe a Phatman, but definitely not a Batman.

If I may, I'd like to refresh your memory, that's the exact same thing people said about JAX seven years ago. Seven years later, I think you'd be hard pressed to find anybody that would say that Jaxson Hayes is 'It".
Fears has all the makings of D'Angelo Russel -- serviceable, but poor Basketball IQ with a lot of empty numbers.

Man I wish some of y'all give players time to develop, dude just turned 19 and is learning the hardest position to play, during it with possibly the worst spacing in the NBA for a down hill attacking guard. And just a month ago he was top 5 in rookie rankings.
And since you like comparing just look at where NAW is at and how much he improved and Fears has already shown more than NAW did his rookie year while being 2 years younger

People are also underrating that Fears has steadily gone downhill since Zion and Poole have been more available. He's a poor fit with both and both have taken away from his strengths and ability to get into a rhythm.
This is another reason why Z needs to go. He's limiting the development of our rookies. Poole or Dejounte Murray will need to go as well.

It's crazy, because a lot of us were saying that we won the trade because Bey has been great and we also got the pick that turned into Peavy, but as Shamit pointed out yesterday, if we tried to trade Poole now, would throwing in Bey and Peavy be enough to get anyone to take him? I feel sure that the answer is no.
Poole wasn't nearly this bad under Willie. Since Borrego took over and removed Poole from the starting lineup, his (already mediocre) level of play has really declined.
He's a net negative on the court and impossible to trade. The worst of both worlds.
