OKC has a winning record at home. Beating them on the back end of a B2B with Zion, BI and Nance out is a very good win.

Gutty win. A little lucky. But gutty.

CJ mostly played well down the stretch after playing bad most of the game

Herb locked up on defense and hit a lot of free throws. Props.

Jax made the most of his opportunity. I will say, his role was a lot better tonight. He’s not a guy who needs to park in the corner and shoot threes. That takes everything that he is elite at, away. That’s why I always thought it was premature to completely give up on him. His role and court positioning was straight up goofy in the preseason and the few games he saw the floor this year.

That style of Jax is one you can maybe try to put in the game against certain matchups if we have injuries, foul trouble, etc. He’s borderline elite at both rim running and pick and roll offense.

Honestly going into the game is not a game we should necessarily win with the injuries and road 2nd game of B2B. Coming out with a win is fine.
oh for sure. These blown leads are getting tough to watch. Can’t wait until we’re healthy and rolling

Naji Marshall got to the line 10 times and make 8 of those shots. Herb was 7-8 from the FT line.

With no Zion, we needed other guys attacking the basket. Jaxson deserves credit for it, but Naji and Herb deserve a lot of credit too.

Both played poorly overall but both made quite a few big plays in the final 8 or so minutes

Why would he drop the ball to call a timeout?

Need your hands to call it to ensure the refs see you…

But again, that’s more on Willie and his teammates, not the guy trapped in a corner by 2 defenders

It's 6 points down. It is a road b2b. We'll be fine when cj and trey check in

Road B2B without our 2 best players

That's a great win.
This board acting like we're the 96 Bulls is wild. Take any win you can get and be happy about it.

I thought Jaxson should've seen time vs Utah when they were out there with 3 seven footers, so its nice to seen him get some minutes.

We'll need his mobility on the perimeter next game vs Indy because they put 5 shooters on the court and chuck 3s. Thats not a good JV/Willy matchup.

Definitely more on Willie in that the TO shoulda been called before the inbounds but CJ should have called it as well once the double came.

Definitely not a good job by CJ. But why with 2 timeouts are we not using one and advancing the ball. We should never have inbounded the ball to start with.

Some people on this board are just so miserable missing our 2 best players and our top backup big on a second night of a back to back against a good team with a legit superstar player and pull out a win and people are in here melting.

It’s like no one here actually watches basketball. 18 pt leads at half don’t mean shite in this league.

I mean we blew a big lead, no doubt. But we were also down 9 points mid 4th quarter and 6 points with 2 minutes left and battled back. With Zion, BI and Larry out, and with a definitely not 100% CJ. And we finally won an OT game. How is this anything other than positive??

You are right

Leads disappear quickly in this league

It would’ve just been disappointing to lose 3 of those games basically in a row

Especially since in all 3 games, we were basically 3-4 more minutes of good basketball away from the other team letting go of the rope.

We were close to this, but coming out the half we couldn’t get a shot to fall while all of their shots seemed to go in.

We shot a lower percentage overall and from 3 and still won, I call it a success and move on to Indiana
