Nah its not even about the loss. Its the effort, not playing the offense Borrego installed, forgetting about your best player and for some god damn reason a guy like Naji Marshall getting more shots than Zion. Go ahead and melt thats just some bullshite and frankly a sign the players dont give a shite.

It was quite clear that the game plan for Zion was to run the court and use as little physicality as possible. Our guys didn’t even attempt to get some rebounds in the paint. Conditioning, conditioning, conditioning. Smart strategy during preseason in my opinion.
It was also clear that the rest of the game plan was for our shooters to shoot and to find their shot.
4 guys had 10+ shots CJ, BI, Hawkins, Dyson. That’s not a coincidence.

Preseason is about not getting hurt, nothing more.
You can't glean virtually anything from preseason games to think it'll translate to to the regulations season.
Not to sound like a jerk, but it's weird how the same dudes who watch the same preseason games every year do not realize that this.
It does not matter. It never has.
Last night's debacle didn't matter.
Game 1's 38 point 1st quarter, also didn't matter.
You can't glean virtually anything from preseason games to think it'll translate to to the regulations season.
Not to sound like a jerk, but it's weird how the same dudes who watch the same preseason games every year do not realize that this.

Here comes the who cares about showing effort in preseason games they don’t matter. They’ll tell you training camp doesn’t matter and offseason workouts don’t matter. Then you’ll hear early regular season games don’t matter and in season tournament doesn’t matter lol. Then you’ll hear seeding doesn’t matter- just get in the playoffs thats what matters. Then you’ll hear just get in the play-in thats what matters. Season ends at the play-in, you’ll hear- not the pelicans fault if we were healthy we would have done better and we were best team in the west in December anyways BS.
Its just the same predictable stuff by some of these posters who make a cyclic effort throughout the whole year to try to stay positive about an organization who has constantly disappointed.

No energy at all, the whole team was worn out and a step slow, maybe camp legs. These are the type games Pels really miss Jose.
