Weird post considering looks like they played worse than Dyson and Hawkins today

Weird that these posed and tweets stopped when Scoot finished 1 of 9 shooting and got hurt.

No one cares what you think would have been a good trade. Go be a Blazers fan pussy. This is Pelicans talk not “I think we should have traded Zion for guys who shot a combined 35% in a summer league game talk.” Every time I think a PT poster is the dumbest I’ve ever seen someone like you takes the torch and runs with it

Did he not finish 1 of 9 shooting after you and others got all excited and started posting and tweeting, yes or no?

He was 4/4 before injuring his shoulder or did you not want to put that into context?

Not moving any goal posts its just clear as day both of those dudes are pretty damn good.

Sure the efficiency needs a bit of work but these are again a ROOKIE and a YEAR 2 guy.
Did we watch the same game?

This emotional post is weird. Also FYI it would have been BI I wanted traded.

It’s literally the stat line from Left to Right??

Poibts/rebounds/assists is how it's done and how it's always been done.
It's kinda wild that you don't think that to be the case lol.

Did you watch both games today?
I find it really weird that you care that much about syntax of a stat line.
Can we get back to the original discussion or you just gonna do the Shel thing?

I'll answer for you, yes I did, therefore this latest reply makes zero sense, but you already know that.
You're extremely emotionally about this subject. It's really strange.

If you can't agree that you posted the stat line in a weird way that no one ever does, then you're just proving my point here.

This guy is still hung up on the stat line thing.
Would you like for me to edit the post so we can move on? Where am I being emotional? Lol. I just said I found it weird that you can’t move on from from how a stat line was typed out
Anyways I guess it’s clear to me you are not interested in having this conversation so I’ll leave with this:
I think it’s perfectly fine and rational to believe the team you cheer for made a wrong turn. It’s also obvious that it requires time to ascertain if your assumption is right or wrong in this case (well for the Pelicans direction it’s essentially 2 seasons with this core).
It’s also perfectly fine and rational to still even begrudgingly, completely invest into what you still have while also admiring what you hoped for from afar. It’s what being a fan is.
I think in general from a one game sample you can legitimately see first hand what scouts thought of when it comes to Scoot. Prior to the injury (apparently he had no sling after the game so maybe just a bruise?) Scoots elite first step, passing skills, and pop up mid range game was on full display. Sharpe is your prototypical 2 guard with additional height and the ability to put the ball on the floor just as well as Scoot. Both in tandem with time and better efficiency will serve Portland well.
I do hope in general Zion and BI find a fountain of youth this year. The city and team in general need some dividends paid out from this lukewarm investment so far. The jury is still out so far but things seem to be trending in the right direction. I was hoping to see some of Boreggo’s (spelling?) initial offensive schema with SL but I guess we will have to wait til Pre Season for that.
I did think in general EJ and Hawkins had good games with a lot left to work on. Hopefully we get a little more EJ in the second game.
Tl;dr
I like Scoot and Sharpe, but also hope the Pelicans get it together with Zion and BI. Hawkins and EJ seem like good prospects.
