1. BI played like we wanted him to play all along. His handle looks better than it ever has which will go under the radar
2. Missi is clearly a standout athlete even among NBA starters and was exactly what we needed. (Shot blocking, lob threat, switching)
3. Murray overall played really well. He has the hardest task to try and fit in but did great. Only negatives were indecision that got him in trouble and cause him to miss normally easy shots for him. His handle needs to be cleaned up a bit as well.
4. Our bench is extremely deep and better than last year. Green is gonna be a difference maker. Hawkins looks sharper. Not to mention one of the starters night will be on the bench and Trey.
Conclusion: yea it’s one game but there is a lot to be excited about and the sky is clearly not gonna fall with the center position

Im looking forward to how Zion looks with DJM on the court. Teams are gonna have to respect us so much more, especially if Z got a mid range shot.

CJ still looks like a top 5 3 point shooter.

I really believe pelicans have the deepest roster in the league, literally have like 11 guys on the team that can make a decent contribution on most of the squads in the nba

It’s early but the season MVP favorite bets so far is on the drone camera.

The fact Missi didn't look lost makes me wonder if he can have a lively kind of impact for us.

Murray legit fricked around and almost got a triple double, he's back in the role he's best at.

I want to see more from this bench, but we may very well have found the top 10 healthy and it's going to be fun to watch.

Well frick. At least it’s feared to be broken and not 100% confirmed broken yet. He did continue to play after all.

Javonte green looks real good. I thought he would be an impactful bench player.
