No one is asking them to do it night in and night out for a straight month. But they need to do it more often especially when they are shorthanded. You look at Maxey last season. He absolutely went HAM with all the injuries they suffered. I expect our stars to be able to do the same as well.

He simply isn't able to sniff 40 other than an extreme outlier.
He's had 5 years to add to his game and he hasn't, and that is why he can't have big scoring games, he can only be efficient giving you 30-35 max for the most part.
People talk about how Zion has MVP level talent, but some of these MVP dudes are averaging 34 or 35ppg. Meanwhile, Zion has scored at least 35 point 15 times in his 5+ year career. He's so far and away from the top 5 players in the NBA, and that ship has sailed, he's never getting there. Unfortunately, he's going the opposite direction and regressing from year 2 Zion's 27ppg on 60% from the field.
