This is a shite franchise that has rarely ever had a winning season. This year was only the 4th time in the past 13 years that we have had a record above .500.
And the sky is absolutely falling. What does that tell us? That our expectations were raised too high for such a franchise? That we should have been so so much better?

All of that, plus a lot of the fanbase tired of being a nothing franchise and realizing that their latest golden goose is slipping away just like the last one.

We won the lottery twice in the last 11 years, and those 2 years had clear cut “generational” talents. But neither delivered even Kevin Garnett with the Twolves levels of success.
So our expectations are inflated because of the draft luck we’ve gotten and subsequently crushed because of how it has played out.
For me the true core going forward is Ingram, Murphy and Herb. Keep that core together for the next 5 years. That’s far from good enough to win a title, but it is at least a coherent skill set and attitude to build around.

I don’t think our expectations were high at all. Look at our team!
And it showed when healthy what a team it was.
The season and expectations were crushed with injuries…
