I think the list was released over a week ago. I think the weights were recent but not up to the minute. Maybe the guys who were at the facility this summer have their weight updated but guys who show up on media day probably have their last listed weight on there.

So he gained weight, but got shorter?
Why they listed Trey at 6'8"

Probably didn't do heights and used their listed height.

Geez, Matkovic listed at 260! I'd say we have enough beef at center.
On Trey, folks forget he did a pretty good job guarding Evan Mobley in the post as a rookie.
A lot of the good centers we will face--Sengun, Chet, Sabonis--are not big bruisers and are not going to overpower defenders like Trey, Herb, Zion or even B. much less Theis, Karlo or our other centers. I think Larry showed that Pels may have even more success matching up smaller, quicker guys on those kinds of centers.
Honestly, I'd like to see more of JRE in the pivot. I liked him coming out of 'Nova and he's a prototypical "small-ball" five in the modern NBA...

Is still 45lbs lighter than the majority of the sons on this board.

I am not of the belief that Trey can play the 5 with any effectiveness, long term. They may be able to do it for a "small ball" lineup, but will be a liability on defense against most teams in the west.

FYI Claxton has a 3" longer wingspan and is still taller. And he actually plays like a cente
People seem to miss this.
Trey doesn't play like a center. He is the best/2nd best shooter on the team.
If he ever plays center it would be at the end of games for 5/10 mins
