I can see Pelicans trading out their 8th pick to get Cam Johnson and 13. They have been working out guys around that range. I don’t mind getting Ogbaji, Williams, Dieng, Branham, Tyty or Griffin. Pipe dream be Sochan and Cam Johnson though.

In that scenario I would go Branham (assuming guys like Sochan and Dieng are gone), but I could see the Pels going Agbaji or Williams.

Why is it so hard to accept that Crewz has sources?

Mans always taking it personally that they don't have any insider sources

Just be happy that Pels have a fairly deep insider and post intel on the Interwebs

Guys like Shamit and Jake don't have anywhere near the intel that Mac does

It's possible he has a source but he adds on to make it seem like he knows more than he actually does. The stuff he post there is no way people in the front office are telling him so much info knowing that he is going to run and post it on some message board. And he only post on there because the posters over there follow him like sheep, this board called him out on his bs and he tucked tail and ran.

It's like that's part of Klutch's pitch. Sign with us and you'll get paid and you don't even have to play!

Both sides are expected to work through a resolution on Wall’s tenure in the near future.

The Rockets really gonna buy out 47 million dollars? I can't see that owner doing that.

Agreed. Our second line would look like this

Kira Lewis/Alvarado 6’3/6’0
Branham 6’5
Johnson 6’8
Murphy 6’10
Nance 6’7

Per souce, the #Pacers and #Hornets have discussed the framework of a trade that would send Gordon Hayward to Indiana and Myles Turner to Charlotte.

New Orleans Pelicans Chatter while I’m on vacation ?????????????????????

Shaedon Sharpe and Dyson Daniels are who NOLA really likes.

Early chatter ahead of Thursday’s NBA Draft so far seemingly says Pels could retain pick & not trade it.

We shall see.

Wait what?

I assume Indy also gets a pick from Charlotte since Heyward is coming in. He makes $30m a season for two seasons.

No fricking way this is a straight up trade nor Indy giving up a pick.

Scoop B obviously has a source in the building that would be at a level that could see the Pels draft board while he's emptying the trash, but this feels like disinformation to me since presumably the interest in 8 from other teams is related to Sharpe.

ScoopB 100% has a source close to us. he's had more pels news in the past year than anyone. Most of it has been lowlevel, but he's had it.

Its interesting that he thinks we like Sharpe. Everyone knows we like Daniels.

Maybe we WANT someone to think we like Sharpe so they either trade with the Blazers to get him, or trade with us.

I’d be able to talk myself into pretty much anyone except Duren. If Sharpe hits, that’s a bigger bradley beal type player off the BENCH

TBH, I don't see how anyones reactions would change.

We have no clue what kind of player he is.

Could be ALL-NBA. Could be out of the league after his first contract.

We literally have no idea.

I really don't want to take the risk...

But the Pels have way more info on him than us.

If they take the risk I roll with it and hope it works out.

Honestly - this pick is purely Lagniappe when all things considered.

Nobody expected a top 10 pick. We just have to optimize the outcome. Whether it's accumulating more future picks or nabbing the best guy we can. Just don't just use it to go all in on a c list player.

I don’t know about his play style or much else.

The interviews he did make me wonder WTH he is thinking and what his BBIQ is like.

You can have guys who are incredibly athletic and have a lot of potential but had their careers don’t go as planned due to being as dumb as a bag of hammers. Nick Young comes to mind.
