Willie is definitely having a rough year. There's been a lot to be concerned about.

They didn't do him any favors with the way his staff was assembled. Usually you pair a first time head coach with a seasoned former head coach. The Pels kept most of the staff they had for Gentry/SVG and let Willie add his pal Collins as Assistant. I'm not saying that to slight Collins, but I do wonder if an experienced and well regarded former head coach like Sam Mitchell as lead assistant, who was also considered and had previously coached Zion, would have made things any different.

No shite Sherlock. Ofcourse consistency is going to rear it's ugly head when you rely on as many young players to punch above their weight as we did/do. Half our rotations are made up of these young guys.

You’re going to no shite Sherlock me and then not address any point I made

You would think young guys would not lack effort or hustle. Watch every other Willie presser after a loss; for some reason he identifies it in these postgames but does not address it in the moment

Leaving guys in last night?

Rotations?

It's the up and downs of an NBA season for young players. It's reasons why some veteran coaches don't like to rely heavily on young rotational players when they're trying to win games.

We simply rely on too many especially when the guys who can overcome the margin of error are constantly hurt.

You simply not going to be consistent when you're young, inexperienced, and are asked to punch above your weight for large amount of games.

Willie ain't perfect. He has a lot to work on and a lot of complaints about him are valid but he also has a lot of good things he's done and thing to continue to build on. The fact that we are closing on a winning season despite the adversity is a good wrap to the injury riddled season.

I agree. I get really pissed at him sometimes, but I think we give him a little more time to figure it out.

Is hovering just above .500 really a winning season, and is really a "good wrap"? Especially if you're bounced in the play-in... We had the easiest schedule in the league after the All Star break

Sorry. I don't see us missing the playoffs. We'll more than likely be 7th or 8th seed which means we have 2 opportunities to make the playoffs. We aren't losing two play in games. Bank on it.

You should ask the clippers that last year because that’s exactly what they did. So did the Warriors the year before. Both of them lost both games. The play-in is no joke. People forget we played the clippers without george or leonard last year. Doubt we’ll be that lucky this year.
