Keeping Zion and BI is the right thing to do.

Yes, it’ll be so awesome watching Zion play maybe 27 games before that fat pussy gets hurt again

I like Zion, and when he's out there and the Pels are dealing it's a beautiful thing.

It's that "when he's out there" part that's holding him back, obviously.

He should have used all this injury time to lose weight and get in shape.

Since everybody has been asking...here's why I seldom post about Zion.

I've been around for 2 years now & I've STILL never seen Zion play in a what I thought was a meaningful NBA game where the opposing team was REALLY trying to defend against the guy the best they could. So, I basically have no idea how good the guy really is...I suspect he is overrated but that would just be a guess. (BTW: I never saw him play a single game at Duke either)

On a side note...I have a fully formed opinion on BI & it's almost exactly the same opinion as I had from the moment I had my "first impression" of him...which was somewhere around game 3 from 2 seasons ago. Funny how "first impressions" are often NOT from the "first" time you see somebody play..in BI's case, it was the 3rd game I watched him play. (Hint: not overly impressed)

So, bottom line...I'd trade BI in a NY minute...the sooner the better. Timing is perfect, at the moment. But, gotta hold on to Zion for now...assuming he must be moved...a year or 2 from now SHOULD be much better timing...since the timing couldn't be much worse...than it is at the moment.

And after what you've seen the past few years, do you trust that the Pels will have their core healthy for most of the season?

I'll believe it when I see it.

If you were a betting on Zion to play 70 games in a season, what kind of odds would you need to place that bet?

I’d need at least 12-1 to probably even consider it.

Honestly in today’s nba your asking a lot not just of Zion but any NBA star. I think it would be good if he could get 50.

He will definitely be traded.

Or the misery will continue.

“Healthy Zion had us playing as a 1 seed”

Ya, and an injured Z sank us down to the 9th spot. Nothing on this team will jive without his health, which means he needs to lose the weight and keep it off

We can blink and another 5 years have passed, and we are still talking about the guy’s weight issues. I do not think it is crazy to entertain the possibility of trading him. Yeah it sucks and it’s more of the same from the organization, but we are playing with fire if the guy remains fat and perpetually injured
