Please let Bryant or Royal be there.

We still have several SOLID options available with this pick.

Quincy Riley, CB Louisville

Good pick … bringing in alot of completion and depth for the defense

Good pick. Riley had a top 30 visit with the team.

I would have rather a receiver but I guess corner is a need too
shite though man, we need more juice at receiver
Or running back hell.

Great pick. McShay had Riley at 85 on his board.

I preferred Bryant, but it's still a great value pick.

Did Keenan Allen sign? Wouldn’t be surprised if we bring him in at WR.
Posted on 4/26/25 at 12:36 pm to Rand AlThor
Seems he is better at press than zone.

I think they will take late round shots and/or bring in another veteran or two … I think next year we will spend our higher picks on skills guys … I like this draft

Riley looks like a headcase. On his draft profile, he had a winter coat on with no shirt.

Chiefs just got another steal in royals.

Allen hasn’t signed with anyone yet.

6th-year-SR continues the pattern of drafting older guys who are mature and more ready to contribute early. Ready to be professionals. I bet Sheuder wasn’t even on our board.
PFF guys like him as an outside corner. Fast and quick hips, maybe not strong enough to play nickel. Said he had a great ‘23, but not as good a ‘24, but said that could be blamed on Louisville’s defense. Said something funky was going on last year, especially in the secondary. Were talking too fast for me to pick up everything.
2 guys thought he’s best fit for man scheme, but other guy said he thought he was strong enough to play zone, too. Said Staley must like him and see how he can use him in his system.

I said that in another thread. This is a great draft for “core” guys that are probably not gonna make a bunch of Pro Bowls, but are older and mature and should be able to contribute on the 2 deep as rookies and eventually take over and be cheap starters for the next 5-6 years. And we’ll start sprinkling in skill position guys next year and moving forward.

PFF guys really surprised right now that Swinson from LSU hasn’t gone yet. Wondering if there’s any off the field stuff that may be hurting him. Have not heard anything like that, just trying to make sense of all these edges going before him.

wish we would've taken the stanford wr at some point. dude is a physical monster and good pass catcher. still happy with the draft.
