Winston is terrible

I'm not saying Winston is great, but the coaches shut down the offense when he came in. Again, read my whole post. Had they done that with Carr, the offensive results woulda have been the same. Carr has not been anywhere close to great himself.

And we were 2-0 and were winning by 17 when he went down.

Our offense only scored 10 points when we were up 17.

Again, our offense has been really bad with Carr

Before yesterday the Saints were #10 in yards/game only 11 yards behind the Chiefs. Like the other poster said, moving the ball up and down the field has not been the issue, red zone scoring/play calling has been.

let's revisit your Olave takes since we are in "told you so" mode

That he's a very, very good WR2 that excels against zone coverage but isn't the best man beater? Let's. You guys think fantasy football is real football and it is hilarious.

But I understand, you need a heavy dose of copium to deal with the gape Carr left you with.

That's actually pretty impressive considering the oline

Your sentence could have been more explosive if you didn't put a comma in there to slow it down

red zone scoring/play calling has been.

Who could've seen that coming? Oh, me. In May.

The whole season is a small sample size so far, but if you go by recent trends... saints have scored TDs in 3 of their last 4 red zone trips with carr, and the fg could in part be due to a time issue - entered red zone with 30 seconds left in half

meh. Your post from May indicates that Carr is the problem in the red zone. The issue the first 6 quarters was Carmichael and his shite play calling inside the red zone abandoning the run. Since half time vs Carolina they used Tay/Jones to set up the pass and scored on 3 of 4 trips inside the red zone with the only FG being the end of the first half yesterday. If Carr isn't hurt the Saints are 3-0. Hopefully with a week of game planning for Winston we can get our shite together for Tampa coming off a short week.

Does it look like Jameis forces throws excessively hard and just a BIT too late?

Every throw is 50 mph or harder, even on short routes.

I’m not super high in Carr. Band we know what Winston is. But this OL creates a QB black hole.

Yes, a player who has historically been absolute dog shite in the red zone is a large part of the problem with our current red zone woes.

It is easy for us to sit at home and say, "Didn't you see that open man?" or, "Why aren't they doing this or that?"

But at the same time, these guys are being paid MILLIONS of dollars to coach, play, etc. When you are having zero luck in the red zone with 3 big TEs, how much more common sense do you need to put them into the red-zone offensive scheme?

Which guy is up in the booth making calls down to Carmichael, Allen etc? They can see EVERYTHING from up there, including mismatches.

Are you the bitch that ducked all olave threads after the first two weeks, when you said all off season he wasn't good, overrated, or some retarded bs?

Now you want to come in and crap on Carr because he got hurt, and thump your chest with I told you sos?

You are the worst fricking poster on this board.

Quite a wide, catch all net you're throwing out there, Jameis's bitch.

What was said was that Olave is a great zone beater but doesn't excel against man, and isn't the team's true WR1, which he's not.

Love it when my lil guy throws shite at the wall and hope something sticks.

Womp fricking womppppp...

He leads the team in tgts recs and yds, but keep putting your head in the sand lil guy.

You can't use any stats to back up your argument, you're just happy that our starting qb got hurt so you can be "right", which is pathetic

And Devonta Smith has more receptions, yards, and touchdowns for the Eagles than AJ Brown, and AJ Brown is their WR1.

Because real football isn't fantasy football, Jameis's bitch.

Nope, I'm ambivalent towards it especially since he looked like shite 90% of the time before he got hurt anyway.

Should’ve just taken our lumps and drafted a guy but we had desperate coaching staff and gm.

And AJ is very unhappy, which of our wrs are unhappy about Chris leading the team in targets and every wr metric that matters?

Are you so ate up with the dumbass that you've ignored the legit wr1 play he's demonstrated 3 weeks in? I think you are.

Ah yes, stats that prove you wrong are fantasy, you delusional dumbass
