Kamara isn't the fastest or strongest or shiftiest player I have ever seen but he has world class balance maybe the most balanced runner I have ever seen. He also has enough intelligence and the those other physical attributes that make him a def. coordinators absolute nightmare. I'll say it again , his balance is absolutely uncanny.

I'd say more like a mix of Walter Payton, Jim Brown, Ladanian Tomlinson, Erik Dickerson, with a splash of Barry Sanders.
Don’t be stupid. That’s Taysom Hill.

Not that I he looks exactly like anyone, but look at old video of Marcus Allen. Very similar gliding type of running style- not saying Kamara is a dead ringer for Allen or anything.

Kamara is not a drive killer like Sanders. He never get tackled for a loss.

He reminds me more of Matt Forte.

who was also a below average receiver out of the backfield
Wtf?
He averaged 35.2 catches for 292 yards and a TD over 10 years during a time when backs weren't nearly the receivers they are in today's game.
He also had an 8.3 ypr for his career (which for a back is damn good), and between a 65-75% catch rate every year.
He isn't the receiver that Faulk, Bush, or Kamara is, but he was still damn good in his time and would still be above average in today's game.

Slow down HOSS!
Imagine if Sanders had an elite QB like DB. I do not the Kitna will be remembered in the same class as DB!

Kamara stand on his own. He's one unique Cat and the things he does is hard to compare to other greats.

Plays in the NFL--check
Is a running back--check
Scores touchdowns--check
Yes, exactly alike.

I liked the Eric Dickerson reference, he does glide and has great balance when running. Effortless & smoove
His running style, yes, with the receiving skills of Marshall Faulk.

My thoughts are AK is a special back. But he is nothing like Sanders in how he runs.

Nothing at all similar.
Kamara looks to me like a more fluid and effective Reggie Bush than a Barry fwiw.

Holy shite he averaged like 2 receptions for 25 yards a game!
Sanders was a non-factor in the passing game, which did not go unnoticed at the time, either

How many backs were catching the numbers Kamara and Bush put up back in Sanders day? I'll wait.

google Roger Craig and Marcus Allen when you get a moment
Posted on 10/1/18 at 1:25 pm to EmperorGout
They averaged 51 and 37 catches per year respectively. Yes that is better than Sanders, but if those are the top guys of his era he still is far from a below average receiver.
Allen only had TWO more catches per year for Peat's sake, and yet you hold him up as an example of one of the best receiving backs of the 80s and call Sanders below average. That's a joke.
If you break it down per game, Allen was at 2.6 and Sanders at 2.3. Is that the difference between one of the best receiving backs and a below average one? 0.3 catches per game?
And Craig was really the first back to be used in that way and it took the league by storm. The West Coast offense was running rampant over the rest of the league in those early years.
