Well, I was at the game and couldn't tell what happened. But the radio dudes said it was a knee to the back of the head. I assume they saw it.

Maybe .. I never saw it .. It must have happened after he was on the ground and a good second or two after the play ..

When it came back from com break and I saw him still down I went back to watch the play over again. The fumble was caused by a Rams player leading with his helmet and hitting Roby around the ribs knocking the ball out. Then when he was down he took a knee to the back of the head, he was sitting up looking for the ball, but he looked pretty dazed to me as he was looking for it. Hope he is ok...

Not a spinal cord injury, so that is good. But a fracture was involved.

I don't think he got hurt until the very end of the play when another player landed on his head going for the ball. could have possibly injured his neck or something

I agree. I think that arse to the face was what caused the injury. He was pretty with it prior to that.

I seen a knee to the back of his head and neck causing his head to jolt forward. That's how he got hurt.

Roby pulling his best Rod Tidwell from Jerry McGuire.

This. He was looking around trying to grab the ball before this. I rewound and played it a frickin' million times over.. his head looks like it's being bent towards his chin and someone else lands right on top of his head and I think it's some sort of neck or upper spinal injury.. Hopefully nothing major.
And to the guy who talked about Roby should get cut, GFY. He plays an important role on this team. He's great on special teams. Say what you want, he's not going anywhere, barring this injury being something career-ending. Also, GFY for mentioning anything about cutting Roby when the guy just had a life-threating injury you heartless swine.

So he fractured his skull? Doesn't seem likely at all after seeing the replay. Nola.com says he took a knee to the neck. He probably had a neuropraxic injury (nerve bruise)

Easy, easy, cowboy...I also said that he is a great special teams player. Makes a heck of a lot of tackles...Just saying, I have never put a lot of stock into a player that just plays special teams when we can put anyone on the team out there to run back kicks and can average around 20 yards a return. I don't know his stats but running in a straight line into a wall of defenders doesn't usually amount to a lot of yards. Phuck off dude...
