Dallas has a personnel issue. They aren't built to play from behind defensively

They were under two defensive coordinators you stupid frick. The fact you just disregard that is why you’re not being contrarian. You’re just being negative to troll. You’ve always done that. You’ve always been a glass half empty kind of guy.

I bookmarked your post. When I bump it after we’re 3-1 or 4-0 headed into MNF, I’ll bump and I’m willing to bet you either won’t show to eat your crow or you’ll find flaws in their 3-1 or 4-0 record too

You know how many teams in the NFL this applies to? Who builds a fricking defense around being from behind in games?

Do you hear yourself?

Pretty dumb hill to die on Zimmy

That dog don’t hunt considering it’s a brand new defensive philosophy led by a guy who has seen more of this than any DC in the league

Dallas won 12 games last season and 16 in a row at home. This is the best reg season win in years

Who was the 2021 offensive coordinator for the Vikings and who was the head coach? Now look where they are today

Then how come Zimmer always handed Payton his arse when they played against one another after being on staff together in Dallas?

How come Payton didn’t dice up Zimmer every single time they played one another? He only did it once, the Kamara 6 TD game. Most other times, especially the two playoff games, Zimmer coached circles around Payton

Klint Kubiak was literally Mike Zimmer's (Dallas DC) offensive coordinator in 2021. Try harder next time

Payton's scheme is not Shanahan's. It's pretty simple to understand.

Klint Kubiak was Zimmer's OC in 2021*

Zimmer didn’t seem to struggle against Kyle Shanahan in 2018 when he beat them 24-16. Or in 2015, when he was with the Falcons and they lost to the Vikings 20-10. Why didn’t he struggle against a Shanahan offense then? Like Gyno said, Zimmer has been around for a long time. He’s a known great defensive mind. He himself has never shown to be more susceptible to the Shanahan system than any other DC like you’re making it out to be.

You sound like a dumbass. It’s embarrassing.

ETA: Zimmer was also DC for Dallas in 05-06 where they barely lost to MIKE Shanahan and the Broncos 24-21 in OT. Not necessarily giving up 40+ to that system 20 years ago but yeah he sure struggles with it now

Now you're going off in left field. This is about the Cowboys, their personnel and the scheme. If this is too high IQ for you I can understand.

The Cowboys have a poor defensive personnel against 49er-based offenses. The Saints run a 49er-based offense. The DC for the Cowboys is someone the Saints OC (Kubiak) is familiar with since he coached under him in 2021. Combined all that plus, how historically the Cowboys defense has played recently against 49er-based offenses. You get the same result

This literally has nothing to do with Mike Zimmer's teams with the Vikings. Such a low IQ response.

It’s actually mind blowing you’re this fricking stupid. You do realize Dallas doesn’t have that much different of personnel at LB versus other teams. I showed you that the Chiefs LBs, who haven’t struggled against Shanahan, are mostly the same size.

Then you bring up the fact our OC was with Zimmer 1 fricking year in Minnesota as to why Zimmer struggled against Kubiak because he was able to study Zimmer’s defense. Then I prove to you that Zimmer hasn’t really struggled against Shanahan style systems FOR 20 YEARS before but yet Klint Kubiak broke him down after 1 year in Minnesota. Shanny had 20 years of watching Zimmer defenses and tendencies and he couldn’t put 40 on Zim but Kubiak cracked the code

You’re the one that brought up Kubiak and Zimmer’s time in Minnesota as a factor in how Kubiak diced them up

I haven’t seen many people double down on being stupid before but there’s a first time for everything

You’re literally describing how teams win in the NFL

An offensive scheme designed to exploit a defensive scheme and its personnel.

Well just let him bump the thread when he finds out the Eagles’ inside linebackers are 6’2 225 and 5’11 230. Pretty identical to Dallas’s LBs. and then again with the Chiefs who have similar starting LBs in size.
