Love Drew but he's our QB, need it from someone else also.

Watched his highlight, literally the most unimpressive tape I've ever saw

He is no threat whatsoever after catching the ball

FYI: If you're looking for the tough leader on offense, his name is Drew Brees. That's who this offense rallies around.

Brees
Colstons
Watson
Evans
Armstead
Ingram

I think we're fine in the offensive leadership department even if 2 of those guys are near the end

Lets use numbers:
Receiver 1: 110 receptions, 1157 yards, 547 YAC -> 47.3% YAC, 4.97YAC/reception, 10 plays of 20+, 9% of his plays will go 20+

Receiver 2: 84 receptions, 1138 yards, 378 YAC -> 33.2% YAC, 4.5 YAC/reception, 18 plays of 20+, 21% of his plays will go 20+

Want to know why?
Average air yards before reception:
Receiver 1: 5.5 yards -> +5.0 yards YAC -> 10.5 yards average per reception

Receiver 2: 9.0 yards -> +4.5 yards YAC -> 13.5 yards average per reception

For all the juking abilities, Landry will occasionally break for an extra 15 yards. Cooks on the other hand has broken for the extra 11 more often.

One is a top end possession receiver that can't go deep.
The other is a more complete route runner with good hands, but isn't a top end possession receiver.

Some of you forget that going into 2014 we still had two relatively good possession receivers that played in the slot often in Graham and Colston while we only had 1 guy who took the top off of defenses.

Dude nobody considers cooks in the same stratosphere but saints fans. That's the end of this he can't hold Landrys jock strap.

Stratosphere? They're in the same above average category. Let's not make Landry into an elite wide receiver now.
