Against Bust....

he was leading the NFL in touchdowns before his injury

we played way easier teams without him. only team we played with a winning record murdered us

he also gave us 3 wins (washington, denver, and minn.) that gramatica/the rest of the team blew

I'm not ready to say Reggie's a bust, but couldh't we use that money to pay an OL, DL, LB, and/or safety we badly need on denense?

we're 13 million under the cap, so money really hasn't been the problem

he is a very good all around player but i think if they did the draft over knowing what he did the last 3 years he probably would barely make the 1st round

Just sayin I don't feel he has lived up to his all-world hype. Is it his fault the media hyped him up so much...no. But it is what it is. Just my personal opinion. No need for the personal attacks.

Fail..Lets not manipulate the stats...The only team we played with a winning record without Bush was Atlanta and we got rolled by the Dirty Birds

How is it a fail? And how is win/loss record manipulating stats?

The past 2 seasons, we are 8-12 with Bush and 5-3 without Bush. There is no manipulation needed.

Further, Brees plays better WITHOUT Bush because Thomas gives us a running threat so teams have to gameplan for run and pass, whereas with Bush they only have to worry about the pass.

In the past 2 seasons, WITH Bush, Brees has 34 TDs and 25 INTs, not a good ratio at all. WITHOUT Bush, 18 TDs and 7 INTs in 8 games.

Let me guess, I'm manipulating the stats again right?

Also, he played great against Minnesota, Denver, and Washington and we should have won those games

He is not great, but put him on a team that can
run block, and he probably would be.

some people thought he would be a bust

I was one of them. He reminded me too much of "Rocket" Ismail, Peter Warrick and that kind of college player. Those kind of guys come around pretty often (more than once every 20 years) and usually don't amount to much in the NFL.

Having said that, my expectations were low, so I don't think he has been a "bust". Because he has produced and become a valuable team member to the Saints.

Should he be paid as high as he is, no. Is he a bust, no.

So thats bush's fault? Dont mind our vomit d. Since when is 5-3 that good of a record anyway?

The 25 int's are bush's fault. Not brees' bad decisions or good d on the part of the opponent. I love it when a running back is to blame for an interception.

You sound like you know alot about football.
You want to talk about someone who isnt good? Talk about pierre thomas.

I never said 5-3 was good, but it's better than 8-12.

So, you dont think it hurts us when Bush is in and we have ZERO presence of a running game, so defenses ONLY worry about the pass??? Great logic.

Why? Give me reasons.

Are we talking about the same Pierre Thomas that has as many 100 yard games as Bush this year, but in only 2 games as the feature back?

Does Reggie have a 100+ rushing AND 100+ receiving game in his career? PT does in only 3 games as the feature back.

Which running back has the most offensive TDs this year? Pierre Thomas, on less touches than Bush.

Which RB averages more yards per rush AND yards per reception?

So, how is PT isn't good on offense while Bush is good? Please enlighten me.

You sir are a moron that is all. Reggie bush was leading the NFL in catches and TDs before his injury. Just because he cant run well behind our shitty offensive line doesnt mean he is a bust. You see what he can do when he a hole to run through. Hes not a 230 pound running back that can bust through a line when no hole is open ie Deuce Mcalister.
