Too many people learn football strategy from Madden. It's a lot easier to manipulate the clock on Madden than in real life. In real life, you do what you gotta do to get a win, even if it risks the clock stopping. I have no complains with their clock management today.

Was legit the right calls in the situation. Just didn’t work out. The first play was super smart to try to flip the field bc the clock was going to stop for 2 minute. Lost 3 yards on the run but made them burn a timeout. On 3rd down he tried to throw for a first down and would have essentially put the game away where you don’t even need to go on defense. I have no issues with any of this. Just didn’t work out. I get running the ball and making them use their last timeout but I actually liked that we tried to win it there instead of going the conservative route. You are also boosting your qb with giving him experience in those situations and also showing that you have confidence in him to take those chances. In actuality, this is also a meaningless game so why the hell not? If you lose they still played great and you get a better draft spot.

No one was complaining about the last 17 seconds

17 seconds for 3 plays? Geez
Go for the win and get valuable reps to the guys. What the frick are we gonna run it for 3 straight times? Being conservative so we can ensure a higher draft slot?
Go win the game Tyler

I would say both teams record and CKMs first year and being the 2nd to last game were the major factors involved.
In other words...all good.

Tennessee would certainly feel Saints would run the ball and the clock. Passing on 1st and 3rd should have been successful either time if they went for 10 yard passes for a first down rather than going way downfield on both. Convert either one and it’s ballgame.
