Sounds like he's planning on going to another team as well.

I can't imagine him getting picked up by anyone. Probably retire around start of season

I had a friend that worked for a company affiliated with the Saints in 2006.

Before the season, she said she was (in a few weeks) going to meet and interview this rookie that hadn't even taken a snap named Marques Colston.

She wanted me to give her a jersey to have him sign, but there were obviously no Colston jerseys. I went online and had one made. It was expensive.

He personalized it and signed it for me and I had it hung in my office before his first game as a pro.

I'm glad he never changed numbers...

I'd be willing to bet I owned te first Colston jersey ever (maybe except his family or something)

Yeah, cool story, I know.

Selfish part of me really hopes he never plays again and can't catch on with another team. I just can't bear to watch him in another teams jersey that is not black and gold.

And I'll take with me the memories, to be my sunshine after the rain.

...it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.

Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.

Cheers, #12

Who's the 2 jackasses that down voted the letter in the OP? Show some respect! Helluva player on the field and even better guy off it. To Colston, you'll be missed.
