They probably feel pretty good about Dixon's chances to contribute on ST, and as a 5th CB. Bailey's injuries from last season to this TC also has to be a concern.

I'm not that shocked about the Dixon part so much as Dixon over Bailey. He did look better than SJB and at times better than White and Robinson.

What is really interesting is that they are essentially saying they like Dixon better than BOTH Trevin Wade and Sweeting who seemed pretty decent last season.

In all honesty SJB should be cut but they've never cut higher thana 4th rounder in year one.

I believe Dixon has a lot of potential. But I think a year on the PS would suit him much better.

I'd never root for a player to get hurt, especially a Saint, but a redshirt year would be best for SJB. I didn't care for him at all predraft, but I've been trying to be positive on him since he picked him.

Sweating was never that good. Brooks was the most consistent young CB but I think Dixon may have past him in the last game.
Another angle on PRob is that this is his last year so it doesn't do us much good to keep him if he isn't up to par (which he didn't look like Thursday).

I don't see White getting cut. He's a solid nickel guy and can also drop back as a Safety and he has two years left compared to PRob's one.
