AK may bring some interest, but teams have been undervaluing the RB position, and he just crossed the 30 and over club
Not with that ridiculous Cam retirement extension/gift we just gave him.

What a guy,
Two weeks before the season starts, bruh ? Really?

Can you blame him? Going out to training camp in this heat in his mid 30s for a team that isn't even going to compete for the playoffs? I'd do it for a couple mil, but I haven't made the money he has.

I’d imagine the thought of sitting through a 2-15 or worse season factored in to this announcement.

Was he going to play for the Panthers?

I wanted him to play one more season and have a chance for us to be his all time leader in games played for

Can’t be any worse than what we have. Maybe he just didn’t fit the ravens scheme. But he was good for us.
Watch he follow Allen to the Bears.

No, Charles Curtis with For the Win has peeled back the curtain to give some insight. Hint: It’s because we’re a bad team.
Or maybe he realized he was no longer the player he once was and was not guaranteed a starting spot and chose to go out on his terms instead of riding the bench

Anything is an improvement at this point.

Boy, he really got some serious scoop
Charles Curtis peeled back that onion.

Some theories: he didn't have the best of 2024 seasons, he's getting older, and the Saints might be REALLY bad in 2025. All of that could be reason to leave the game behind.
Charles Curtis peeled back that onion.

He didn’t like what he saw; neither do I. He’s smart.
