So you think the Saints should've taken White at 11? You believe white is the better cb?
Posted on 4/29/17 at 12:06 am to saintsfan22
Lol hell no. I would have taken Allen but every one on here said that was a bad move (whether it be depth or injury). Same with Foster although I personally didn't want Foster. I didn't think there was an LSU player that was better though at that time. So not sure what your point is.

Nah. This is the saints board. It's a forum for the Saints. I don't go to the rant
I joined this website specifically because of Saints Talk. I hate the PG shite on saints report.

Nope too soon for White
The point is you can't be so positive on Lattimore.

I don't recall there being a requirement that LSU fans must be Saints fans?
Fact is in SP tenure they've been several excellent Tiger players the Saints passed on who could have contributed quite a lot over the years.
Past GMs/coaches had no problem drafting LSU players; what's SP's problem?
It's not like LSU isn't turning out good players.

I really don't understand the hate.
I'm a saints fan first, lsu second.
Pelicans third.
I'm a home team kind of person.
I will pull for every lsu player in the NFL as long as they aren't playing the saints that weekend. But many times the draft doesn't fall into a perfect circle of taking tigers, or jaguars or green waves or bulldogs or cajuns...
Or the rare lion.
In all honesty our defense could draft the top 4 picks this year but our coaching has suffered.
I don't blame the talent or the injuries. Every person in the NFL is a gifted one in a million athlete.. their job is to motivate and win..
The patriots understand this. Green bay understands this.. the Steelers understand this. The rest catch lighting in a bottle with talent for one year.. The previous teams mentioned do it consistently

Are you fricking kidding me?
Yes, the kid missed his entire first season... his team won the national championship. They didn't need him at the time, so why burn the kid's redshirt halfway through the season?
They said he missed 21 games?
quote:
How many games did he miss his last season (you know, the one most relevant to his current situation)?
College season nowhere close to NFL
quote:
an "oh btw", did any LSU players struggle at times with injuries? You know... lingering things, that caused them to miss a few games, and limited their effectiveness at times when they did play? If you can think of one (I can), would you have any issue with him being picked high... like the first player at his position?
Has nothing to do with this discussion
I don't think Tre White warranted 11th pick, but your fooling yourself if you think it isn't a complete crap shoot.

On a website named Tigerdroppings populated mostly by LSU football fans. You may not want the overlap but it's stupid to continuously cry about what's obviously going to happen. YOGWF probably talks Saints and they won't ask for any LSU players.

No we're not saying to reach but come on Payton goes out of his way to not draft LSU guys. Matthieu was the worst example - he'd have been the heartbeat of our defense. Fit an absolute need and was an extreme bargain. Ditto for the LSU O lineman last year or two years ago

He'd have been fine - weed isn't a big deal in the NFL

Meanwhile all the NFCS teams are loading up on LSU defensive players and making it Super Bowls.

I'm aware they made the Super Bowl. Maybe it's late at night, but I can't think of any elite LSU defenders on their roster.
