He acted like it was his eye to avoid concussion protocol. You aren’t slow to get up and drop again on your way to the sideline because you got poked in the eye. Plus nothing ever touched his eye. His shield stayed in place and nothing ever went past it.

Exactly what happened, his eye was never actually hurt. He was dazed then faked the eye to give them a reason to not do the protocol

Best part of that play was that Cam was already down, got up and then was clocked. LOL.

At his post game conference Cam was trying so hard to get his story straight. Dude actually said " I thought I got poked in the eye". Then he remembered he wears a visor lol.

Yes they did. He had an eye injury.

Fake bullshite. He was on dreamland.

By all standards, he should have been in the locker room.

Once again, the rules are applied unevenly, in order to massage the outcome of games.

Cam looks like Chris Tucker should be standing over him.

Don’t think they are worried about the slap on the wrist they’ll get from the NFL.

I don’t think their ownership gives a shite.

They’re about to sell anyway so a $100k hit for attempting to extend their season is chump change compared to a sale for hundreds of millions.

River claims it was an act:

quote:

“Well we wanted him to sit down to give D.A. a chance to warm up, because (Newton) was injured,” Rivera said. “Instead of trying to bravely walk off, we wanted him to take a knee and our guy a couple of throws.”

Then they should be fined for that shite at least.

Everyone does it but he just admitted to using an “injury” to purposely delay the game for his teams advantage.

He went down at the sideline because his coaches were screaming at him to do so. An injury timeout was needed there to get the backup ready without burning a charger timeout.

The sad part is the refs knew it and let them do it.

Christ on cracker!!! do yall think im defending Cam Newton or something? I hate that fricker. But he clearly wasnt concussed. its pretty easy to see when someone gets knocked unconscious (i.e. kamara/tyrod) vs... Cam Newton being a drama queen and milking the moment.
