MT being the exception and I think if he had that to do over he wouldn’t have given him that deal knowing the injuries that were coming.

I have to imagine Peat & Ruiz are notice. Ruiz may be able to survive through 2023, but cutting Peat after the season saves money. Always hate to make drastic changes on o-line (especially if there could be a new LT in 2023), but I believe a lot of Saints fans can live with some early season inconsistent Guard play in 2023 is they replace both
Ruiz will probably get replaced after the yr. Cutting peat after the ur does not save any money.
He has a 16mil dead cap hit with 10 the yr after
He will be here 2 more years. They actually like peat believe it or not. He is way better than ruiz.

He would have made Drews noodle arm even better the way he finds holes in the coverage.

If he's designated as a post June 1st cut then they would save around $12M in 2023, which would have dead money of approximately $6.5M in '23 and $10.5M in 2024.
Current anticipated cap hit for 2023 is $18.37M

I hope Sean Payton watched him blow up on Sunday. So glad we finally have a coach that doesn’t mind signing LSU players. That was such a treat because it was Jarvis and the fact that it was the first LSU receiver we’ve seen since Henderson ball out. And how many great receivers have we had run through our school? It’s insane.

Peat contract is looking bad as well.
Everyone and their momma said this as soon as the ink was dry. Same about the Hill contract.

Landry isn't going to get 15 mil a year imo
He will be lucky to get half that. I think that 6-8 a year is his sweet spot depending on how his year plays out.
