Tulane students do this. None are from Louisiana and are just suppporting whereever they are from. Kinda cheesy if you ask me
Nah, this is pretty inaccurate, but I wouldn't expect much else from a middle-aged MAGA mouth breather that hates anything he isn't used to. You think there were that many Tulane students at the game to cause this random guy to notice this?
The vast majority of Tulane students adopt the Saints as their secondary NFL team once they get down here, if they already have one. If they don't have one, they all become Saints fans, in my personal experience as a Tulane student FROM LOUISIANA.
Tulane football may be on the come-up, but the Saints offer much more of a "big-time football experience" that a lot of those kids are looking for when they move here. Saints tailgating & the Dome are essentially a college football atmosphere - similar to Green Bay or Kansas City in that regard.
Every Tulane student I knew that went to Saints games made it a point to find something black & gold to wear for it. Dunno where you're getting your info from, old man.
Now, what kids are wearing in the Boot on Sundays? Def a different story.

I think it’s safe to say that there was only 1 guy with a Carson Palmer jersey on in the dome Sunday. We set next to him and his group. The one guy that sat next to us was a ravens fan, had on a ravens polo. He said the guy in the bengals jersey is trying to visit all the nfl stadiums. The others guys recently started traveling with him to make a guys weekend out of it.
Guys were cool, they chatted with my son who was at his first Saints game. The ravens fan I talked to said they had never heard a stadium so loud and was one so the best experiences they have had so far.

I attended a bachelor party years ago in Atlanta. It was preseason and the falcons were playing the Pats. The groom was a pats fan and this was as close as he could get to watching his team play. The rest of us were saints, bears, and steeler fans. We showed up in jerseys from our teams, 8 of us. It was awesome.

What grown man wears a jersey at all?
And worse, what grown man is worried about what another person is wearing to a ball game?

I went to a bills game a few weeks ago. I wore a Tre White LSU jersey and a saints hat. I wanted to support the local team, but at the same time it was still game day for the saints and I was gonna represent

I’ve see. Some of this at college games and starting to see in NFL games. I think it’s just fans of other teams going to venues they wanted to visit as non combatants. Cool by me even if a bit odd visually.

People wear random jerseys for every game. We always try to guess what team we will se first at the game. NBD

About two weeks ago, there was a fraternity party down the street from my house. They had a pool party of sorts, so a bunch of dudes wearing tank tops and what not. I run another errand and see about 20 girls in bikini tops and shorts walking my way, so I head their way to perv out on them. Those were some hurt girls. Maybe two of them were LSU/Ole Miss quality. Damned Yankees.

People who are displaced from their home team for one reason or the other and go to game wear their home Jersey. I wear one of my Saints shirts (don't do Jerseys) when I make my annual trip to a Texans game

PSA: Please do not wear your SAINTS stuff to other team games. TIA
I wore an LSU polo to a Florida State vs Maryland game. I wasn't cheering for either team and just enjoying the game, while still repping my team.
No one cared, and neither should you,

I was at the game. Didn’t much notice what other men were wearing.
