That's not how we do contracts baws.
Yup. And it's getting really old.
Every year the fans forget this, and get all excited about certain FA signings. Then we all bitch and moan when we get screwed by it. Rinse and repeat.
It has made me jaded and I hate that about myself

So basically do what the Packers have been doing for years

THIS.
I just can't get into it right now. It seems so transparently pointless and dumb right now. It's either a bunch of armchair Madden GMs who are collecting player ratings or a bunch of clowns who want them to pick LSU players and opponents and think it's a conspiracy when they don't. It's become so boring.

If we get him for the right price, get him.

yea, have another solid draft and stop over paying for Free agents

wait, are yall telling me the key to success is drafting well!? Well, frick! We cracked the code. How does no one else know this secret!?

He is exactly the kind of guy that would get a bonus and not perform...

And don't over pay plus stay away from players that get injured in the future.

The guy could not excel next to Suh in Detroit and in STLs ultra talented line. Kind of wonder what shot do we have to make him anything. Better be cheap

He got lazy and complacent but he's woken up, I wouldn't hesitate at all to get him on a 2-3 yr deal. I think is fire is lit again.

is Hokie having financial difficulty due to his illness?
Someone told me Bobby was saying you could text donations to him?

Why stop in the offseason with maddenisms, how bout we:
Score more points than opposition in games
Gain more yards
Make smart extensions where we don't overpay
Run a balanced offense
Reduce penalties
Coach better
Play better
All equally substance lacking comments.
I expect your essay on how you would have handled this offseason in august, where you throw out "facts" that only people in the fo would know for sure.
Or continue with general "no shite" commentary where you pretty much can't be wrong.
At least when triplet disagreed with the move, he threw out an equivalent contract that he would have rathered in derrick johnson, a 33 yo linebacker who has obviously begun a downward trend last yr if you look at his stats in a contract year. He's reportedly making 7 mill a year aswell and I would rather coby a million times over. At least I can respect triplet disagreeing with the professionals bc he throws out alternatives instead of spewing obviousisms with zero chance of accountability in the future.
But yes, it would be smart of us to draft well right.

I don't like signing D lineman that come from teams with a lot of D line talent. Sometimes it makes the player look way better than what he really is

He has a Go Fund Me to raise 10K
