It could happen but Rizzi is the safety net. If Rizzi is the HC it’s because at least 3 other candidates passed on us. IMO.

Todd Monken enters the ring.
Has interviews scheduled with the Jags and Bears.
I for one hope the Saints add him to their list of interviews.

A few media outlets claim that Glenn is close to a done deal with the Jets. If so, I guess that opens the possibility of Brady or McCarthy to NO?!?

Teams can begin in person interviews today with current coaches that has been eliminated from the playoffs.

As I understand in order to satisfy the Rooney Rule candidates must have in person interviews.

Add Dan Campbell to the list. The Saints could trade for him. The Lions could elevate Aaron Glenn.

I’d like to take a shot on Brady. We need to take a risk like that. High risk high reward but who cares about the risk when you are in our situation?

Any good candidate for HC knows this roster is not good and the cap is worse.

How are these interviews going. Loomis: We have a good roster and we are close, how will you take us over the top?

Good candidate: Am I being punked right now? We need to take the next few years fixing the roster and cap, I believe I can have us in the playoffs while we do that. Then competing for Chips right after that.

Loomis: Sorry we don’t seem to be on the same page, thanks for coming in.

You have no concept of sarcasm. But, nevertheless, you’re a trashy poster.

I believe Loomis will wait until every other team fills openings then find the weakest link to hire.

I’m sure it will be a failing high school assistant position coach that read a book once about football.

Trust the process. Results are misleading sometimes.

lol. How do you people survive being this miserable all the time?

1. The team and the cap is a nuclear disaster.

2. Ownership and management is clueless

3. I honestly don’t know who would want to voluntarily live in New Orleans. It’s one of the most non-appealing destinations to live

I honestly don’t know way people who truly feel like this would want to keep following this team and coming to Saints talk unless it’s just the whine and act miserable.

People who speak the truth? It’s ok to be a realist and take off the black and gold glasses sometimes.

What you posted is your opinion not the truth.

The cap can and will be much better in 2026 and likely totally clean for the most part by 2027.

Ownership and management are far from clueless just because you want them to do something different than they’re doing.

Realist don’t let emotions drive their thinking and opinions.
