@RapSheet: Per @MikeSilver, the #Jets got a 3rd rounder for Teddy Bridgewater. Same round as the #Bills got for Tyrod Taylor.

Shocking...

never did anything to make me think hes a special player.

with AK and the emerging D, we don't need a special QB (especially with the cost of one)

3rd is too high. Was hoping a 4th or 5th.

your heir apparent in all likelihood would have to come from a top 5-10 pick. Doubtful we're there anytime soon

3rd is on the high end of what I find acceptable.

A 4th wasn’t enough tho . It would have been multiple picks with a 4th

We better hope his knee holds up and we can extend him. That’s a stiff tag for for a one year rental.

Teddy Bridgewater won’t play a single snap for the Jets, yet will wind up being one of the shrewder moves of the offseason. For what amounts to the cost of a $500K signing bonus, the Jets acquired a third-round pick.

I was expecting a 4th, so this is in that range considering they expect it to be a pick near the end of the round. This is a good move given Drew's age and the lack of a viable backup. This season is a Superbowl challenging one, so you spend a bit extra to make sure it doesn't go off the rails

I figured it'd be in that range after the showing he's had, there had to be competition

nice flip by the jets, cheap signing netted them a 3rd rounder

I'll agree with this. Either way, if it works out, I think this could be huge for the saints. I'm a fan of it even if it's a 3rd rounder. Keep focusing the draft on other areas. Unfortunately, we now have only one decent pick next year.

It's the same we gave up for Grayson.
And we already know Bridgewater is a starter quality NFL QB.
