Overrated compared to what? The only thing you have to compare this group to is last year's receivers. None of the projected starters has ever played on the same team together. Your statement is baseless until they have a history to compare to.

you know, I'm a tad skeptic myself.
MT13 and Juice are both 29 years old with Mike playing fewer seasons in the league despite that. Although this is a big prove it year for Mike. Assuming he dodges the injury bug, no reason to think he can't/won't produce at a high level.
Okay. So is every other rookie in the league.
he was in a weak passing attack the last few years in a run heavy Browns O. Injuries are a concern. Played in just 8 games in 2019 and 2021.
Okay. Barring injuries to others that's what he's going to be anyway.
Trequan is no target hound but he's a good blocker. Saints didn't hold onto him for nothing. He's a role guy.
Can't remember anyone saying otherwise.
Deonte Harty whom you left off had 15.8 ypc last year with another 6.8 yards after catch per reception.
I look at it as we've upgraded tremendously at WR compared to last year and guys should get open quicker more often. But I'm not sold on the guards on the O-line but that's another story.
I'm trying to look at fairly and not be too harsh.
Oh well.
Let's hope they get it done.

Marquez Callaway is a 3rd or 4th WR, and that’s probably about the ceiling for his potential.

Tre’Quan Smith is terrible and probably should have been cut a couple of years ago.

Deonte Harty.
Yeah, I missed this news that he changed his last name from Harris to Harty.
I think it was an Underhill tweet about our WR corps after Jarvis signed that first mentioned Harty, and I thought it was a typo/brain fart, until Harty was mentioned again in another tweet.
When did this happen, and why? I would assume it was a change from one parents' surname to the other (like Patrick Johnson did to Patrick Peterson).
EDIT: Appears he he did it around Xmas to honor his stepdad who actually raised him. Pretty cool. Selfishly, I'm glad it's not Harris-Harty for typing it out.

Hopefully they’ll prove me wrong and become the All-World WR group that so many Saints fans seems to expect.
All these people talking trash on this comment need to take the Black & Gold glasses off and face it. we may not be a very good offensive football team... Everything you said is spot on...

Thomas, Olave and Landry complement each others' skillsets better than any trio in the NFL. Add Kamara catching out of the backfield and Jameis only need be a bit above average to score the points we need.
