Partially right.

It would be the next year (2027) when we would be in a good cap situation.

How many times this has to be said. WE CANT CUT CARR THIS YEAR.
Even if Mickey told Moore he has a few years to get this right. The first year head coach will want to win games. If they get a few pieces and stay healthy Carr gives Moore the best chance.
