Was listen to Moving the Chains on SiriusXM, Pat Kirwin said he spoke with 10 coaches that coached with Bill to hear their opinion if he takes the job if offered. 9 out of 10 said he would do it and why? Because the team has a chance to win the Super Bowl

True. But this reminded me of Ace Ventura. So I posted it.

I think that Parcells is likely to come to N.O. in some fashion. He either comes in as head coach, or (more likely, in my opinion) he comes in as a consultant (boss) and Carmichael actually gets the HC tag.

Hopefully. I feel like we'd be fine with Carmichael running the offense, but without Payton this team lacks a big figurehead. Grandpa would fill that role.

That’s fine, but it cuts against the multiple reports that Payton wants Parcells, and that Parcells may be warming up to the possibility. Parcells told Myers that he couldn’t say what he would do because he has received no offer, and Parcells didn’t rule out the possibility of replacing Payton during Payton’s suspension.

Looks like it's getting more likely he joins.

We need someone like Parcells come in to keep the distractions away from the assistants. Sean Payton is trying to keep the infrastructure that he built in place. Making an assistant interim head coach just completely ruins and disrupts the structure of the coaching staff and creates confusion amongst the players. You would have to replace that assistant and then so on.

Hiring Bill Parcells is the best move the saints can make as an organization regarding the head coaching vacancy. Parcells would just be an principal while the teachers teach.

And maybe he doesn't want to screw the assistants that he respects by throwing them into the media circus and let the a-hole media rip them up. Parcells is excellent at toying with the media. Remember when he referred to TO as "The Player"?

Parcells as an iterim coach would act more as an administrator while the regular staff would take on the coaching duties. it just keeps the organization moving and stable.

The common sense of this potential hire is strong.

Read today's USA Today article, and Parcells would have to have a great reason to turn the opportunity down..

Who's ready for this?
