Hey Taysom, i mean SoFloSaint,.... we believe in you as a multifunctional player, but being a starting NFL QB is just not gonna happen.

I just don’t get those clamoring for Rattler. The man literally can’t win a game. He’s winless in how many starts? What kind of winning streak is he going to need now to suddenly turn into a winning QB?

It doesnt matter who you put there. He doesnt have anyone but undrafted Scrub WRs and Cuts from other rosters to throw to.
Only Drew Brees made players better.

We already tried this.
He sucked, as expected. We wisely never tried again.
He doesn't have the brain to process the game quickly enough at QB and doesn't have an accurate or particularly strong arm.

His sophmore season was ok, he had 4000 total yards and 29 touchdowns. But he also had 14 ints and his completion % was 53%. He didnt play much again until his senior season. Where he only had 2,900 yards, 20 tds and 11 ints. 59% completion percentage. All while playing against weak arse competition.

I'm not saying Rattler is the starter, but in his defense he played most starts without McCoy and some of the O line. He also played with 3 practice squad WRs every game. He actually played very well that first half vs Tampa the last game of the year. Then he was like okay draft pick time lol.

I think the assumption of Hill as QB is based on Carr not being here, obviously.
If you keep Carr, he’s the starter.

But it’s missing the larger point that, assuming Carr is gone, we won’t have a QB on the roster getting significant money.
We probably will pay Taysom, maybe even extend him.
He sucked when your goal was to make the playoffs.
When your goal is to compete with an under talented roster…it’s not the worst idea.
If it were me, I’d give Rattler some rope.

you could not have shittier fricking opinions if you tried your damnest. you also tried to preach to us how we were married to carr for 9 years since we restructured his contract in previous years and here we are waiting on if our organizations will cut bait only after 2 yrs. you fricking suck at opinions and you suck at facts.
