it was like that at the beginning of the season for sure. As the year went on though, I thought he made some progress. Sproles and PT are excellent in the screen game so I don't know if they want to have Ingram be more involved there or not. Also, the O-line shuffled their lineup some during the first half of the season. When DLP took over at center, you could really see the difference.
Edit: I mention the O-line because they really picked it up in the run game, mainly in the second half of the season. By then though, Ingram was out with the injury.

They do show their hand quite often with the packages that are on the field, BUT with the talent that each of the backs have, there's always the chance that Ingram can hit the flats for a screen or Sproles can take a power up the middle.
Defenses have to respect it, and that's enough to keep them honest.
