I think Thomas is going to be a stud but we do play a 3-4 and he may be a little light in the arse.

He would he an OLB/pass rusher in the 3-4. He would be an even worse fit in a 4-3 at end tbh because that's pretty light for a 4-3 end, but not too crazy for a 3-4 OLB.

Jordan, Young, and Granderson all played stand up OLB for us this past season without dropping too much in coverage, so I don't think he even needs that skill set to be useful. He could come in on 3rd downs as a pass rush specialist until he develops more.

You actually need someone light in the arse at one of the OLB spots. Preferably one of your OLBs is strictly a pass rusher, basically just an extra DLineman that’s more athletic. The other OLB should be kind of a jack of all trades. Doesn’t have to be an elite pass rusher but has to be average or above average but should also be able to drop back in coverage and do well there too.

I like R Mason Thomas, especially if we can get him in the third round but he is most likely a second round guy. I also like Romello Height
