Having a sister that just finished her Chemo treatments I wish the NFL would do more to bring awareness to it. Get over yourself man its a small thing they can do for the people that have been diagnosed with a terrible disease.

You suck at reading comprehension.
The NFL should do MEANINGFUL things like give more money- not try to drive pink cap sales of which only a smalll portion go to cancer research or allow pink cleats for no fricking reason. It's retarded and misguided.

No I usually find your antics somewhat funny just think you pushed it on this one

So we have to see Tracy Porter on the sideline with a pink tampon string hanging out of his vagina for FOUR games
actually pink tampons are not allowed by NFL rules. Pink cleats however are, and this is more probable of what Porter will be wearing. I also shall point out that the NFL does not have any females playing in the league, though they will most likely have a lady ref in the near future, so that means Porter does not have a vagina.
Nice try at funny though, but you failed miserably.
Let's keep a running tally of diseases you do find funny (yet have been unable to construct a funny statement about them) and deem worthy of ridicule.....
ALS
Breast Cancer
Retardation (read about three posts down)
nationalities you ridicule....
Mexicans
Germans
and as for the Saints players you try to make fun of yet again fail miserably.....
Drew Brees
Steve Gleason LINK
way to go AIH, you represent yourself well. You may have become the most hated poster on ST, and that's not an easy award to win

Maybe their just funny in your head. You know comedians play to their audience. Right now you're playing to an audience of one and are mad that more people aren't laughing.

I just got this email:
quote:
To NFL Fans:
On behalf of the National Football League, please join us in supporting the NFL’s “A Crucial Catch” campaign in October for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is the third season in which NFL teams, coaches, officials and players will wear pink in recognition of the fight against breast cancer.
Just about everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer. That is why the NFL is proud to join thousands of others committed to fighting this terrible disease.
Throughout October, all NFL teams will celebrate survivors, visit patients at hospitals and turn their stadiums pink to show our enduring support. Alongside our partners at the American Cancer Society, we will emphasize the importance of prevention by encouraging all women over the age of 40 to get a yearly mammogram. We know that annual screenings can, and do, save lives.
Thanks to the passion of NFL fans, we have the collective strength as a league to connect with millions of people and make a positive difference. Please support the American Cancer Society's programs to help people stay well, get well, and find a cure. We can fight back against a disease that has taken far too much from too many for too long.
There are several ways you can participate in “A Crucial Catch.” Visit nfl.com/pink for the resources and tools you can use to get involved.
An annual screening saves lives. Let’s spread the word.

I did not make fun of Gleason - frick you.
Goodells letter is great - all those things are great. Pink cleats are meaningless and annoying.

great. now you're ripping on the fastest growing population in America...... yet still not funny. If you're going to rip on people with diseases or foreign nationalities, please for the love of God be funny about it.

I hear what you're saying, dude. I do. But I can appreciate them also SHOWING support. I thought the profits they made from the pink sales went to cancer organizations?
My grandmother had breast cancer - twice. So I can appreciate them showing support.

We go through this shite every year with insecure retards attacking Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The NFL does this primarily for marketing purposes. You get to sell pink hats, jerseys, etc to women while getting more of them watching games, buying tickets, etc.
It's pretty fricking simple, and the reason that we don't have a colon cancer awareness month in the NFL (dudes are already fans and already buy shite, so supporting a charity won't help the league out).
