At least they got the audio right!
Was just coming to post that. I'm going to test drive one just to hear how the Mac in it is. Just need some of those wonderful blue meters bouncing on the dash! A lot of these high end home audio companies that have put their name on car audio has been really hit or miss. The B&W stuff in Maserati was extremely disappointing. On the other hand, factory upgraded Meridian audio packages in Range Rovers sound unreal.

If these fools would pay homage to the original and make the front end look even a little bit retro. they would sell millions of those things. But they jack up that shitty front end. No thanks.

This would be better off under the Chrysler brand as a new Town & Country. This oaf of a car does the original Wagoneer a disservice.
It looks like a poor man’s Range Rover.

I'd like to hear that McIntosh stereo. The last McIntosh car stereo I saw was in a Ferrari 360.

The exterior isn’t great. Not bad, just kind of meh.
Interior looks awesome.

Had Jeep approached this like Ford with the Bronco, and designed something that immediately says Wagoneer, it could have been a home run. Now it is a bulked up Grand Cherokee. Major mistake. SUV's are largely boring now, and modern spin on the Wagoneer would be cool, not a Wagoneer'd Cherokee.
Not following this...Ford approached the Bronco by making a unibody modern take on the old Bronco. Should Jeep have made another unibody 2 row SUV? What exactly would “immediately say Wagoneer”? They already have a 2 door and 4 door Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee which actually does have off-road capability. The old Wagoneer was considered a more luxurious family SUV which is what Jeep have done with the new Wagoneer concept.

It looks like a big patriot.

Huh? Are you thinking Bronco Sport. The Bronco is a two or four door with removable top. No unibody. The vehicle is immediately identifiable as a modern Bronco. It’s unmistakable.
And no, I meant Jeep should’ve emulated this approach, not the actual Bronco. Make something a person would immediately think Wagoneer, followed by, I want it.

Yeah my bad, thought the big Bronco was unibody. Sport only.
I mean, I sort of get that, but Jeep can’t throw wood paneling on a new vehicle lol. I think modern safety and efficiency requirements would not have allowed for something closely resembling the old one. Idk. These threads are just always the same and I never get it. Design has to advance at some point, not everything can be a retro throwback. Jeep has stated they want Wagoneer to be its own brand marquee. They are taking aim at the Lincoln Navigator and the Cadillac Escalade. A utilitarian call back to the Wagoneer of the 80’s but on modern architecture does not compete with either of those.

I would hand over my money in a heartbeat for something that looked like this with modern engineering.
If you rolled up to the carpool line in that bad boy I’ll guarantee you that the MILFs’ panties start dropping.

Trying to compete with Telluride. Not going to work though
Agree that it looks like a Telluride. I know they sell a ton of those, but don't understand the logic in designing your new flagship $100k vehicle to look like a $30k Kia.

You don’t understand the logic bc that’s not what they did and also bc it wouldn’t be logical.
Have y’all seen a Telluride? Aside from both being SUV’s and having a boxy overall shape, the Wagoneer looks nothing like a Telluride.
