Just bought a 2025 last week…. My 4th Tundra in a row.
Weld the hood shut.
Plus, my last one (2017) took a 50 mph rearend collision from an F150 and while it was totaled it gave worse than it got. The cab stayed intact.
Best damn truck on the road

I have a 24 limited hybrid, and everything I’ve read about the engine issues, there seems to be no problem with the hybrid models. I’ve got 14k miles on it and am happy with it.

2013 with 240,000 miles. No problems.
With that said, I would never buy any vehicle made post Covid. Find you a good, used 2019.

Jury is still out on the engine and if it’s fixed or the new ones have the same problem. Still waiting to see if my 25 Lexus is going to get caught up in the recall.

I’d still wait till Toyota irons out the engine issue, but I’d buy one in a heartbeat over any Ford, GM or Dodge. My FiL has a 1794 w/ Hybrid powertrain & it’s been great for him, plus way more power than the 5.7

My 5.0 Ford F150 is better than either my 08 or 20 Tundra.
First time I bought Toyota was the only one willing to finance a new grad.
Second time I bought into the reliability myth. Engine was "great". Interior was cheap junk that fell apart. I got rid of it when the frame started making noises when you got in and out of it.

The 2021 Tundras with the old drivetrain and lowish miles are like gold if you can find one. But their MPG sucks.
I have a 21 limited with 22000 miles on it. I bet i could sell it for more than I paid for it.

What is the general consensus on this vehicle? Thanks.
You don't need to spend $75,000 on a truck.

Are the exploding turbos fixed?
I like the looks of the Tundra and several of the features. They made some odd decisions:
No way to step on rear bumper when tailgate is down
Drive in movie size infotainment that sticks up above dash
Too many things beeping at you from the dash
I like the big sunroof and layout of the cabin. And the built in plastic bedliner. And the powered running boards are the best from any OEM.

For a limited you should be no more than $50-52k.

Gas fill on passenger side
This would be a big benefit for me. The lines at Costco are very long for driver side gas fills. There is hardly anyone on the passenger side.

My 2023 has gas on the driver side. I also have the smaller screen because I thought the bigger one would be distracting.

You actually asking this question on this forum…

I hate the limited label. There’s nothing limited about it.
