Why not X7,782?
If the first number is "4.5" giving you 45,000 to start, then you add 2 to the thousand place, or 2,000, you end up with 47,000.
Yours wasn't even close, actually. Your response to "the 1,000 digit is 2 less than the largest factor of 8" was 7. WTF? You started with 5 and added 2, when it specifically said to subtract 2. Again, WTF?

this is wrong ...
2 is a prime number not 1

I know the last 4 numbers are correct

Relax you tard and try to keep up.
If you half 9, which is what was intended and put that number in the ten thousand spot the .5 from 4.5 would fall into the thousands spot.

The second number is 6
Greatest factor of 8 is 8 subtract 2 and get 6

Why do people go right to this?
Just because someone says you are wrong, doesn't mean they are upset. Putting 4.5 into this question is wrong. And even if somehow that became close to accurate, you still ignored the second step.
There is no need to be upset.

Because your response was written with a confidence and almost as if you were trying to talk down.

Again, WTF
I rest my case.

If you would have worded your response with respect then I would have done the same. You didn't, so I didn't.
Don't start getting defensive and trying to make me out to be an arse just because you showed your arse and were wrong.
